Way to Meet the Troop

Remember the post a few days back about the new troop that shot the clearing barrel? I found out last night that I am his direct supervisor.  Lucky me.  Mistakes and accidents happen, but his was pretty big, so he is going to be watched pretty closely the next couple of months, especially right after they allow him to start arming up again.  I told him my expectations and gave him my number and told him that if anyone calls him and tells him to report to the squadron, he had better call me very quickly.  I am getting tired of the leadership not telling me when or why they want to talk to my troops.

I had fun running around with paperwork last night.  I still have stuff I have to get initialed and signed by troops.  I plan to finish most of that tonight.  Hopefully, it will be another quiet night.  We will see.

About emeree

I am an Air Force veteran. I served as a Security Forces troop for nearly seven years and reached the rank of Staff Sergeant before separating in 2008. My tours of duty were in England and Oklahoma. I live in the Seattle area, which is where I grew up. I used my GI Bill and earned a degree from the University of Washington. I currently work in downtown Seattle and experience all the adventure that comes with that.
