Last Minute Type

My boyfriend's family is driving down sometime this week.  He is not entirely sure when they will get here.  This knowledge is kind of frustrating.  I am not sure whether I will have to tolerate his family for any length of time or if Rob will just decide to deal with his family himself.  I do know that his sister is staying with him while his family is visiting; a fact Rob is none too thrilled with.  I am not sure how his father persuaded him to allow that.  It should be an interesting holiday week one way or another.

My mother has braved a new frontier of the internet.  Facebook.  Not sure what I think about her being on Facebook yet, but I will eventually get used to it.  Who knows? It might lead me to find some of the friends from our taekwondo school.  We shall see.

This week will likely lead me to some reflection.  I have already realized some of the stuff I am thankful for.  It has taken me over a year to be thankful for some of it, too.  I will explain later this week, if I manage to get around to it.

More to come.

About emeree

I am an Air Force veteran. I served as a Security Forces troop for nearly seven years and reached the rank of Staff Sergeant before separating in 2008. My tours of duty were in England and Oklahoma. I live in the Seattle area, which is where I grew up. I used my GI Bill and earned a degree from the University of Washington. I currently work in downtown Seattle and experience all the adventure that comes with that.
