Halfway There

Give or take a couple days.  I cannot believe how quickly this year is flying by.  Wow.

Yesterday, I somehow managed to turn my alarm clock of in my sleep.  Not sure how that happened.  I was half an hour late to work because of it.  Not bad, of course, especially since there was a phone call explaining I would be late.  This happens maybe once a year.  The last time I can remember where it happened was in late 2007.  Luckily, my supervisors seemed more amused than anything else.  Some have even admitted they have done similar things.  Rob told me this is the reason he keeps his alarm clock on the other side of the room.

I blame my inability to sleep over the past few days on yesterday morning.  I took extra care to set more than one alarm before going to bed last night as a precaution.  I did not really need them, though.  I woke up every couple hours, if that.  And then, some idiot called my cell phone at 0400.  I woke up thinking it was the alarm for at least ten seconds.  Then I got extremely annoyed.  Whoever that person was (I did not recognize the number) is extremely lucky I did not answer the call.  Is anyone else getting more wrong numbers over the last month?

We had a thunderstorm today! Yay! I do not think it lasted long enough, though.  It was neat watching the rain approach.  I was driving down the road when it started pouring down and I could see the intersection ahead just drenched while not a drop had fallen on my car.
