On the East

Over the years, my parents have dug several flower beds around their house and planted countless plants.  Most have been varieties of roses, rhododendrons, or tulips, the latter being my favorite.  These plants are not in bloom yet, though the tulips are sprouting and our rhododendrons have buds.  I was walking outside recently when I noticed a hint of purple in the east flower bed.  I went to investigate, because I had not realized any of the plants were blooming yet, and found these crocus.  There are yellow crocus nearby, but they were not yet in bloom when I took this picture.  I plan to go back out this weekend and see what else has bloomed in our numerous flower beds.

More to come.

To me, you knew when Spring had arrived when the Crocus come up and sprout – then it would be the red buds trees. Oh' how I can't wait to get spring budding pictures now!
