Tulips!

Purple Tulip 1
Purple Tulip 2
Purple Tulip 3

We have tulips blooming out in the yard.  The trio of purple tulips in the front yard were the first to bloom, but we have a white tulip in the back, too.  And there are bunches in both yards getting ready to show themselves over the next few days.  I look forward to seeing them bloom.

This weekend, my mom and I plan to go to the annual tulip festival north of us.  If all goes well, I will be posting a lot of beautiful photos of these fields and gardens of tulips.  The festival is actually starting a few days early due to the warm weather we have been having for the past month or so.  They are expecting the tulips to be ready.  I am excited.  It has been four years since the last time I was able to go to this festival.

Sounds awesome! There is a Maple Festival somewhere near me that I want to go to this year. Heard about it from a girl at work. Fresh syrup and candy and such made from the trees. YUM.

    Enjoy that trip. =)
