First Week Gone By

It was not a terribly interesting week at school.  Thus far, a lot of the stuff I have been going over in class is review.  Granted, I still have to do my Criminal Justice homework tomorrow.  That will be interesting, but I am not expecting anything new to pop out there, either.

Traffic was about as bad as the first week of Fall Quarter, but I have been leaving the house early enough to avoid the worst of it.  Thankfully.  I hate parking in the east parking lot and hiking a quarter mile upstairs through woods, especially in the cold and rain.  I hope to avoid that as much as possible this quarter.  So, if I have to be at least 30 minutes early to get a decent parking spot in the west parking lot, so be it.

I  returned to Tae Kwon Do and Kickboxing this week, too.  Having a ten day break may not seem like much, but it is.  I decided not to take a couple of my regular classes so I would not have to worry about overdoing it the first week back.  I hope to take the other classes next week.  We shall see.

I have made good progress in my current cross-stitch project.  I will post a picture sometime this weekend.  I have a goal to do 100 stitches a day.  I surpassed that goal this week, and it feels pretty good.  I figure that I should have enough time per day to do at least that many stitches.  If I make good progress, that means I will be able to finish the project sooner that I expect and will be able to move on to other projects.

It has been a good week.
