Busy Week

It is the last full week of class this quarter before Finals.  And it is a busy week, too.  I do not think any of my previous quarters have been quite this busy.  Wow.

I had a final paper due in History.  We were to either critique one of three books assigned to us throughout the quarter, or analyze a historical article.  I chose to critique Sir  Thomas More’s Utopia.  I should have picked Voltaire’s Candide, because that is a more interesting book, but I did not know that at the time.  The paper is done and turned in.  I am dreading the grade I might get back.  It is done, though, and I have other things to worry about.

Two presentations, for example.  One on Wednesday in Geology in reference to a service project we have been working on.  We are still piecing that together.  I will take one last look at the group paper tomorrow and revise it as necessary.  One guy is doing the PowerPoint, for which I am grateful.  I know how to make such a presentation, but I have never enjoyed working with it.  I might be working on that tomorrow night, too.

The second presentation is on Thursday for Spanish.  Myself and a partner have to demonstrate what we have learned to the instructor.  Fortunately, we do not have to worry about other students in the room.  That will make it easier.

Then there are the two tests.  First is in Spanish on Wednesday.  The second is in Geology on Thursday.

Once I get through this week, then I will worry about the finals next week.
