Break

I am on break for the next couple weeks.  It is a good feeling.  I am also house-sitting for some friends while they are on vacation.  It feels good to have a change of scenery, even if it means I have to put up with a moody cat and two obnoxious dogs.

I am watching “Marley & Me” for the first time and one of the dogs keeps barking at the antics on the screen.  It is amusing.  I think the dog will sleep well tonight, especially since she is usually asleep by now.

This year, the holidays seem to have crept up on us.  It was a very busy weekend for me.  I had a function Friday night, Saturday morning, Saturday night and then a lunch date with friends Sunday.  I am glad I am on break from school, because after that weekend, I need a couple days to recover.

Grades will come out on Wednesday, I think.  I think I got high grades in two of my classes.  My third class is a bit of a mystery, since we did not really have many graded assignments.  That will be interesting to see.

Friday, there is another function at my Tae Kwon Do school.  I will be going for my next rank.  I am excited about it.  I keep trying to reassure some of the lower ranks, but they will get nervous regardless.  With some of them, that is not a bad thing.  Others, I worry about.  But, it is their belt, not mine.

The weekend will be more interesting, but I will think about that when it comes.  I have other things to concern me in the time being.

I currently work in downtown Seattle and experience all the adventure that comes with that.
