A While Back…

My brother was tagged in a photo comment.  The photo in question was an old TKD photo.  A friend of ours could not believe how young he looked in the photo and asked if was indeed him.  My brother, curious, went to check out the photo and saw that a former student had mouthed off about him, apparently not thinking that my brother would ever see it.  My brother decided to send a message basically saying that he felt sorry for the guy.  He did not receive a response right away and went about his life.  A while back, he posted a note on Facebook saying that he thought it was amusing that someone claiming he was not worth their time had spent enough time to write three paragraphs about it.  I got around to asking if it was who I thought it was earlier this evening.  We talked about it and I told him I had thought about sending a message myself, but was not able to since the guy has blocked me on Facebook.  I am not entirely sure why, since we have not talked or seen each other in nearly a decade, though I do admit our last encounter was not a very good one.  Sometimes, drama can be amusing.

I am an Air Force veteran. I served as a Security Forces troop for nearly seven years and reached the rank of Staff Sergeant before separating in 2008. My tours of duty were in England and Oklahoma. I live in the Seattle area, which is where I grew up. I used my GI Bill and earned a degree from the University of Washington. I currently work in downtown Seattle and experience all the adventure that comes with that.
