Cougar Reflection (In Progress)

This is Sue Coleman’s “Cougar Reflection”. It’s the third project I’ve stitched based on her artwork.  All three projects are cougars, because that is my favorite animal. I’ve got a number of other charts and kits featuring cougars, but a couple other charts are calling out to be done first. It sometimes amazes and frustrates me how easily I can find charts of tigers, lions, and leopards, but there aren’t nearly as many featuring cougars.

I started this in 2014 after receiving the chart and thread as a Christmas gift the previous year. As I mentioned in my last post, I’ve lost my stitching bug for months at a time. That said, I started keeping a stitching journal, which is helping to keep me motivated. I also take pictures every now and again to show how much I’ve done, because out doesn’t always seem like that much until I see the photos. So, here is my progress through the year. The most recent picture was taken Wednesday. My goal is to have this finished by the end of next month.

About emeree

I am an Air Force veteran. I served as a Security Forces troop for nearly seven years and reached the rank of Staff Sergeant before separating in 2008. My tours of duty were in England and Oklahoma. I live in the Seattle area, which is where I grew up. I used my GI Bill and earned a degree from the University of Washington. I currently work in downtown Seattle and experience all the adventure that comes with that.
